|Choreographer||Irina Akulenko is a New York City-based artist, who studies traditional belly dance,Classical Indian dance (Odissi), contemporary, and Flamenco dance and enjoysfusing these art forms, while looking for engaging ways to tell stories.
Today, Irina isa popular teacher, touring principal dancer and choreographer to several successful multimedia shows and enjoys collaborating with artists of all types of art. Irina loves building bridges between different cultures and believes that dance is key to ourcollective, mutual understanding
